TECHNIQUE OVERVIEW

The Strategy Framework uses a solution-based approach that is grounded in learnings from Positive Psychology and Appreciative Inquiry.

Each exercise consists of three steps:

  • Discover
  • Design
  • Delivery

Consider the following headings to discover key aspects of this
opportunity to develop a strategy for your organization.

  1. What would make our strategy amazing?
  2. How can we have the most fun developing our strategy?
  3. How can we get everyone excited and engaged around this project?
  4. What might this strategy become?

Facilitated

  • Conduct an Ice Breaker exercise to set the scene for some creative thinking (select an IceBreaker from the IceBreaker Patterns).
  • Use Use Facilitation Pattern 4: Brainstorming to brainstorm responses to the questions on this slide

Self Driven

  • Complete Mindfulness Pattern 1: Self Focus to get into a relaxed, creative mental space.
  • Think about, and make notes, on your responses to the questions on this slide.

Expand on your discovery insights to create key statements describing your strategy journey
